The Rope Access Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Revalidation programmes at OEG Training provide learners with the knowledge and practical capability to perform rope‑access operations safely and effectively. 

Rope Access Level 1 – Initial & Revalidation 

Training includes rope manoeuvres, equipment inspection, basic rigging, work positioning, fall protection, and basic rescue techniques, all under Level 3 supervision. 
Technicians learn to ascend/descend ropes, change systems, pass deviations and re‑belays, and support rope‑access operations safely. 

Rope Access Level 2 – Initial & Revalidation 

Training includes advanced rigging, complex manoeuvres, hauling systems, intermediate rescue techniques, and support for non‑standard operations. 
Technicians learn to rig simple and complex systems, perform rescues from multiple positions, and assist Level 3 supervisors in planning and executing rope‑access tasks. 

Rope Access Level 3 – Initial & Revalidation 

Training includes supervision, advanced rigging design, rescue leadership, equipment inspection, risk assessment, method‑statement compliance, and safety management. 
Technicians learn to lead rope‑access teams, verify rigging systems, conduct rescues from any position, and ensure full compliance with Rope Access safe‑system‑of‑work procedures. 

 The course suite is designed to develop safe rope‑access capability, reduce work‑at‑height risks, and meet the latest IRATA International training and assessment requirements recognised worldwide. 

Rope Access  Level 1 – Initial & Revalidation 
You will be able to confidently perform basic rope‑access tasks, including rope manoeuvres, equipment inspection, assisting with rigging, and carrying out a basic rescue involving descent under Level 3 supervision. 

Rope Access Level 2 – Initial & Revalidation 
You will be able to perform intermediate rope‑access tasks, including rigging, hauling, complex manoeuvres, and rescues from a variety of positions, supporting Level 3 supervisors in technical operations. 

Rope Access Level 3 – Initial & Revalidation 
You will be able to supervise rope‑access operations, lead rescue activities, design and verify rigging systems, inspect equipment, and ensure compliance with rope access safe‑system‑of‑work documentation. 

Across all levels, you will demonstrate competence in rope handling, rigging, rescue execution, work positioning, communication, and safety management, meeting the latest rope access international standards required across construction, maintenance, inspection, offshore, and industrial sectors.
