The City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Working in Low-Risk Confined Spaces programme at OEG Training provides learners with the knowledge and practical capability to work safely in low‑risk confined spaces. This training covers hazard identification, risk assessment, safe entry and exit, equipment use, following procedures, and dealing with emergencies. 

You will learn how to prepare for entry, follow approved working procedures, use equipment and tools safely, maintain safe access and egress, and respond appropriately to emergency situations. Practical elements include top‑entry access, safe movement within confined spaces, and correct use of PPE and safety equipment.  

The course is designed to enhance operational safety, reduce confined‑space risks, and meet the latest City & Guilds 6160‑01 qualification requirements recognised across utilities, construction, engineering, and industrial sectors.

At the end of the City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Working in Low-Risk Confined Spaces programme, you will be able to confidently enter, work, and exit low‑risk confined spaces safely, following approved procedures and safe systems of work. You will be able to identify hazards, use equipment correctly, maintain safe access and egress, and respond effectively to emergencies. 

You will demonstrate competence in risk awareness, safe equipment use, procedural compliance, and emergency response, meeting the latest City & Guilds confined‑space safety standards required across multiple industries.
