Code of Conduct

OEG Training – Learner Code of Conduct

1. Introduction

OEG Training is committed to a safe, fair, transparent, and inclusive learning environment. Learners play a vital role in achieving this and are expected to contribute to successful learning and a positive experience for everyone involved in their learning journey.

1.1 Purpose and scope

This Code of Conduct sets expectations for learner’s behaviour. It is guidance rather than an exhaustive list of acceptable or prohibited conduct. Where a situation is not specifically covered, learners must act reasonably, as defined by OEG Training.

This Code applies to all learners receiving training from OEG Training, regardless of delivery mode (face?to?face, blended and online).

It applies when learners interact with OEG Training staff, visitors, contractors and partners, whether on OEG Training premises or external venues.

This Code applies in both physical and digital environments.

Any breach of the Code of Conduct may result in the immediate removal of the learner from the course and/or premises for actions such as gross misconduct, which is defined as being, but not limited to endangerment, bringing OEG Training into disrepute, abuse, unauthorised interference with data, harassment, and prohibited relationships.

OEG Training recognises diverse backgrounds and support needs and reserves the right to apply equitable approaches to conduct.
