We may provisionally hold a place for an agreed period, payment (deposit or full payment or purchase order will be required by the agreed date). A provisionally held place is not a booking and after the agreed date for purchase order or payment, may be offered to other participants/ companies.
Where you are buying services from us as a consumer then you have a fourteen day right to cancel the services from the date the contract is made. If you as a consumer cancel during such fourteen-day period then you will receive a full refund. If you as a consumer attend a course within the fourteen-day cancellation period then you must pay us for the services we provide up to the point that you cancel.
In exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of training centre manager, courses may be deferred to later date. The course can be deferred once at no extra charge; however, any further deferments will result in an administration fee of £50 inclusive of VAT. If any deferred course is subsequently cancelled by participant, then no refund will be issued.
All participants must be 18 years old or over and must meet minimum pre-requisites as per the relevant awarding body standard. These can also be found in the individual course descriptor on OEG Training’s website.
When booking any Refresher course, it is imperative that the ‘full’ course certificate extends to the refresher course completion date. Failure to meet this requirement will result in the participant being refused entry to refresher course and rebooked onto full version with deduction of refresher course payment being taken from full course price.
All participants are required to be present for 100% of the course. OEG Training recommend that all participants arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled course start time. If a participant arrives more than 30 minutes after scheduled start time, they may be refused entry onto the course (and no refund) at the discretion of the training centre manager.
Participants must complete all required components of the course to the standards prescribed by OEG Training to be eligible for certification. Failure to complete any component shall result in the participant being deemed ineligible for certification, and no fees shall be refundable to the participant or client in such circumstances. All matters relating to the withholding, or validity of course certification shall be determined solely by OEG Training at its absolute discretion. Certificates are issued only upon full completion of all required assessments.
If a participant is unable to achieve the required standard, they will be offered additional training on a case-by-case basis by the training centre manager
